once the hair cells are damaged they are damaged. there is no magical-medicinal cure for a sensory/ neural hearing loss.
buck up and get your self some hearing aids. if you have a high frequency loss. make sure they have directional microphones and at the very least 8 channels so the audiologist has greater programming ease.

I have been totally deaf in my left ear since I was a kid. Its the inner ear so a hearing aid would not even do any good.

This is a good example of a sloping hearing loss (most commonly caused by aging) but does not simulate all noise induced hearing loss -I have a cookie bite notch in my audiogram at 3k and it is a completely different sound -its hard to explain -high notes are clear as a bell but the midrange is dropping out so music sounds tinny and people sound like they are speaking with a lisp all the time- its not a problem for communication yet but still very very frustrating

There could be a number of possibilities going on such as endometriosis (just using endometriosis as an example only) but the only way to know for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

There is NO best trade or model since everyone’s hearing loss is different and the age onset is different. And digital and analog hearing aids are DIFFERENT. I prefer the analog so I have Oitcon.

Not really an illusion but the video just contains a recorded clip where people are speaking gibberish. The video itself does not show the people speaking. Just a black screen with text containing instructions on how the video works. After a few seconds, the brain will try to make sense of what you’re hearing so you’ll end up hearing “diet” or “ice cream” or whatever thing that your brain is thinking of.
