Actually just about the same supplies are needed for a c-section. She will still go through alot of pads, pain medication like advil or Tylenol. When she comes home you could go to her house and cook a meal for her. Maybe make a cute coupon book with some coupons for a meal, shower, helping with household tasks… things like that will be hard to find the time and energy after having a c-section.

In high school the pupils try to find their own way and position in their life. Normally the teachers must help them, but they are too narcissistic and only do their job as a information giver.

Your main equipment is your knowledge and skill. Know the technical side, all about ISO's apertures, shutters, focal lengths, depth of field, etc. etc. Then know the composition rules. Then know about lightning and how to do good shots in field conditions, where you don't control the light.

Once you know all of that in theory, you should be able to apply this knowledge in practice very quickly. The thing about photojournalism is that you need to shoot the events when they happen and as they happen, so you shouldn't stop and think if this aperture is good for this kind of situation. You should know it right away.

Then, once you have all that – you will probably know what kind of camera you need.

So right now, before you know all the theory and have a good practical hang on it – do not invest in an expensive camera. Buy an entry level dSLR, such as Nikon D40 or Canon Digital Rebel and a few good lenses. Remember – lenses are important. You will upgrade your body later, but lenses will stay with you for years to come. Try to get ones with Vibration Reduction (or Optical Image Stabilization, as some manufacturers call it). Then practice, practice, practice…. And then, when you are ready for the full fetched journalistic assignments – get a good fast rugged body, such as Nikon D300. Maybe and keep your D40. What many journalists do is keeping two bodies on hand, one with telephoto lens and one with wide angle, so that if events move from being far to the close range you don't waste any time changing lenses, but just grab the other camera and shoot.

And of course Photoshop. If you want to be photo journalist, that is probably the only piece of software on todays market that you will need…

    Good luck with your career!

They must have sad lives with nothing better to do.” Sadly for Redknapp and his 19 fellow Premier League managers, there are not enough switches to flick to blot out all of the pressure. He is feeling it at present as he attempts to lead his team to a top-four finish and another instalment of Champions League football and, when he glances over to the visitors’ dug-out at White Hart Lane on Wednesday, he will see someone feeling it just as acutely. Arsène Wenger has resembled a man on the edge in recent weeks, as his Arsenal team have lost in the cups and passed up opportunities in the league. Even he might accept that their title hopes would be officially over if…

“OSGATA et al. vs. Monsanto, which was filed on behalf of organic and non-GM farmers everywhere by the Organic Seed Growers and Trade Association (OSGATA), addressed an important agricultural issue about which few people are aware. In the past, when Monsanto’s genetically-modified (GM) seeds have contaminated non-GM and organic farms, the agri-giant has sued those farmers whose fields were contaminated on the grounds that they violated patent restrictions — and in some cases, Monsanto actually won these lawsuits. Seeking to protect themselves from such ludicrous and exploitative litigation, a consortium of farmers, seed companies, and agricultural organizations filed a preemptive lawsuit to stop Monsanto from ever again targeting farmers in this rapacious manner. The suit also challenged the legitimacy of Monsanto’s seed patents in the first place, which many say are invalid because they do not meet the “usefulness” requirements under patent law. But Judge Buchwald, who recently heard both sides of the story at a preliminary case hearing, has apparently decided to join forces with Monsanto by declaring the lawsuit to be “a transparent effort to create a controversy where none exists.” And this statement clearly indicates that Judge Buchwald has failed to acknowledge the more than 100 instances in which Monsanto has already sued farmers for “patent infringement” when its own GM seeds and seed traits have inadvertently contaminated non-GM and organic fields. “We’re Americans. We believe in the system. But we’re disappointed in the judge,” said OSGATA president and organic seed farmer Jim Gerritsen in response to the ruling. Adding to Gerritsen’s sentiment, Dan Ravicher, executive director of the Public Patent Foundation at Yeshiva University’s Cordozo Law School, stated that Judge Buchwald’s “failure to address the purpose of the Declaratory Judgment Act and her characterization of binding Supreme Court precedent that supports the farmers’ standing as ‘wholly inapposite’ constitute legal error.” OSGATA and others are already planning to appeal the decision, which they see as a complete denial of reality. Though Monsanto claimed before the court that it would never sue a farmer over a contamination issue, this has already been shown to be false, a fact of which Judge Buchwald should have been aware.”
