First of all, save money by ditching the gym membership and 'health foods'!

'Health foods' tend to be well marketed and packaged, expensive options. Instead, just buy lean meats like skinless chicken breasts, brown rice/pasta/bread, fruit and vegetables etc… just regular, every day healthy food rather than 'health foods'.

Eat a natural diet full of fibre and protein and relatively low on carbs. There's no need for expensive options.

Instead of the gym membership, try high intensity interval training (hiit), which you can do while running, swimming, cycling etc, 3-4 times per week. Add some bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, crunches etc 2-3 times per week and there's no need for the expensive gym membership.

Stick to these simple guidelines and you'll maintain a healthy weight without breaking the bank!

    Good Luck :)

Don't know – mostly a matter of personal preference.

Teles are rather trebly sounding and have very light action – easy to play – they're popular with country guitarists.

Les Paul's have rich tone and good sustain – but they're heavy as hell if you're standing up with one for a significant amount of time it's hard on your back.

Strats are very popular with rock folks – good selection of pickup sounds.

Can't you get to a music store?

Peter, your “difference” model would instantly lead to the most expensive container automatically including the other container options for free. Which is not a bad thing, and is the way that it’s working out in the indie music world: buy a CD or vinyl, get the MP3s or FLACs for free. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a “buy the hardcover, get the epub free” model.

The employer might have its reasons for not offering employee discounts.

    1) The company has a slim profit margin on its products. If they offered employee discounts, that margin could be even smaller or eliminated completely. It's even possible they could lose money on the sale when considering the cost of the product and all the marketing, packaging, etc., that went into it.

    2) Tax issues: If an employee discount on a sale is too much, the amount you saved can be considered taxable income TO YOU. That would require additional record keeping and reporting.

Remember, companies don't really like to do anything unless there's a cost benefit. The only impact I imagine you would have is if you had a large number of employees behind your effort and that you all will quit if you do not get a discount. The cost benefit there is that the company could save money by offering the discount and thus save on recruiting costs. Then again, you said you're a store employee so you all can be booted out the door and replaced easily since this company is considered popular.

you are assuming that the women who veil would feel more comfortable unveiled and that "being comfortable and being herself" is the same for everyone as it is for you. Hijab is a choice, and yes, when a woman chooses it, she does choose to give up some things. however, multiple studies on the action of assuming the veil have shown that the intent is to display openly one's devotion to God (and in case you didn't know "Allah" is just the Arabic word for God) and/or to openly display one's identity as a Muslim. Therefore, these women feel like they are more themselves when veiled.

I'm not clear how someone else's garment choices make you feel like they are forcing beliefs on YOU. no one is making you veil, and no one should be trying to gain moral superiority by veiling. Other people make their choices for their reasons, it is very rarely about you.

Not only do I feel fine around veiled women, I have worn a veil myself just to see what it was like. Yes it can be constricting in some circumstances, like on a blazing hot day, but most of the time it was quite comfortable. I only stopped because if i were to do something like that, I would want to because I believed and respected the concept behind it. I felt that doing it as a non-muslim was disrespectful of me.

also, the wearing heels thing? Here in Jordan the veiled girls are more likely to be wearing stylish shoes with high heels and sequins than the unveiled girls.Tons more make up too.

If you have questions about the veil and the reasons behind it, ask a woman in hijab about it. She probably would prefer that you know instead of make assumptions.

If it is plaster I would scrap and clean. Then I would look into how to repair the cracks and refinish the surface. There may be tips and tricks. If is GWB (sheet rock) I would demo all the GWB on the walls and leave the ceiling. This way you could re-insulate the exterior walls and check or add more electrical outlets, TV cables, DSL or telephone wires. Then put up new GWB.
Clean and repair the ceiling and paint them with a sand-mix.

Post : LinkedIn Updates Events App With Intelligent Recommendations, Better Search And More URL : Posted : November 9, 2011 at 11:00 am Author : Leena Rao Categories : TC LinkedIn Events launched in 2008 as a way for professionals to find events and conferences that match their career interests. Today, LinkedIn is improving events with intelligent updates to recommendations, search and more. One of the first changes is that any notifications about events in your network will now appear in your Network Update stream. And your Events home page will provide an evolving set of intelligent event recommendations based on your location, industry, network, and more. LinkedIn tells me that the Events backend algorithm has been completely redone, and is more “powerful and scalable.” For users, this means that the recommendations will be significantly more relevant. LinkedIn now puts a higher weight on events that your connections are organizing or attending and looks for people who are similar to you and will recommend to you the events that they’re going to. One interesting new feature is recommendations of “Attendees You May Want To Meet” at particular events. LinkedIn will highlight new connections that you may want an introduction to that match your career and network interests. A Similar Events feature, which creates a browse map for users to find events that are similar to ones that they have identified. The search function for events upgraded, allowing users to filter by industry, location, and time. Events will display search results with a number of filters at the same time (i.e. you can search for SEO events in London). You can also see events in various locations in the same search. LinkedIn says that the Events is actually used by a fair amount of its members. The professional social network has tracked over a million RSVPs to hundreds of thousands of professional events on LinkedIn Events in this year alone. LinkedIn, which just reported third quarter results , recently debuted Classmates, a tool to give users new insights and networking features to connect with fellow alumni of colleges and universities. AP – A monster Pacific Northwest storm coated the Seattle area in a thick layer of ice Thursday and brought much of the state to a standstill, sending hundreds of cars spinning out of control, temporarily shutting down the airport and knocking down so many trees that members of the Washington State Patrol brought chain saws to work.
