Museums are constantly working to attract diverse audiences and have been for many years. At the museums with which I've been involved, there are usually several exhibitions running at once, and they are targeted towards different types of potential visitors. There are large exhibitions of major artists whom everyone has heard of, including people who don't normally pay a lot of attention to art, and smaller, focused, more scholarly exhibitions directed to people with special interests.
There are also exhibitions mounted with children and parents in mind — sometimes original art made for children's books — and lectures, gallery talks, concerts and special events just for fun.
At my local art museum, for example, visitors can see soon an exhibition on Matisse, one on illustrations from children's picture books, two on major figures in photography, and one on a major American architectural firm, plus an exhibit of art from the Coretta Scott King Book Awards and another on works on paper by American artists. The local symphony orchestra is performing in the galleries, as is a dance troupe, and there are special art-making sessions and dance performances for children. Members are being invited to join a sketch class or attend basic lectures on Impressionism (always a big draw), and to a talk on Egyptian Hieroglphs — another rather popular subject. On Thursdays and Fridays, there is a Happy Hour in the Members' Lounge, or you can attend the "Martini Monday" luncheons — mai tais are being served a week from tomorrow.
And my museum isn't alone in marketing to anyone and everyone who might have an interest and in offering events that don't require educated, specialist knowledge. Museums have known for over 30 years that they need to broaden their visitor base, and they've been working hard to do it. From what I can see — and I'm an art professional — they've been doing very well. The galleries I frequent are filled with non-professionals who simply enjoy the art and who are being offered activities from which they can learn but that don't make them feel "inferior" in terms of prior knowledge and understanding.
And we're delighted.

The scale is commonly called the octane rating because, by definition, pure isooctane(1,1,2-trimethylpentane) has an anti-knock index of 100.
Also, by definition, pure n-heptane has an anti-knock index of 0.
Labs use a specific protocol and standardized engines to test the tendency of a specific fuel to knock. All of this is quite fascinating to watch-there's a new lab just right up the road from me, established by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Transportation, which is fully equipped to test fuels, and this is one of the things that they're equipped to do.
In any case, using the above definitions, a mixture of 87% iso-octane and 13% n-heptane will have an anti-knock index(or octane rating) of 87. What you buy at the gas station as 87 octane is, in all likelyhood, not such a mixture. Rather, it is a mixture which, when fed to the above mentioned standard engines, behaves like a mixture of 87% iso-octane and 13% n-heptane.
There's no fixed amount of octane, or anything else for that matter, in gasoline. Gasoline is just a mixture of whatever the refiner finds in crude oil which has the correct boiling point range. Sometimes, they'll do some tricks to bring a heavier stock into the correct boiling point range for gasoline(catalytic cracking) or some tricks to increase the octane rating of low-octane gasoline(catalytic reforming).
The common ways to modify octane, however, are through the use of additives that are not normally found in crude oil. Both alcohols and ethers have a high octane rating on their own, so refiners will often add cheap and plentiful ethanol or methyl t-butyl ether(MTBE).

The bigger the story, the bigger the pay off. If you have this story, get a lawyer to hammer out an agreement before you spill the beans, it would also be better if you have recordings, photos, credible people who will coo-berate your story. GL

Take it to your Vet. If the registration # is for a Rabies tag, it's trackable. The Vet's office can also check for a microchip, that will identify the owner.
Best of luck.

Last year, I visited a salt mine in Austria that was started during the stone age and then continued by the Romans. It is still in operation, and uses the most advanced salt mining methods in the world.
Why is that relevant to your question? Because each advance in mining methods was a small advance. People used to scratch out the salt with deer antler tools, now they use complex machines, but the thought is the same.
People have mentioned hammers and wheels. Think brooms, plates, cups, enclosures for animals, water resistant housing, clothing, making thread from animal hair or plant fibers (wool, cotton), and all those other things we still use. Those lists of new things people gave you do not wipe out the old things that are either still around or have just been gradually improved upon.

both, your body goes in to starvation mode and clings on to every bit of food you put in your mouth because it doesn't know when the next meal is coming . If you also dont eat much the things you try to cut down on (sweets, cake) when you do have some you are more likely to binge due to depriving yourself of them in the first place.

Prosey — we’re not connecting intellectually at all now — I am focused on the *current* policy issues that I think are most important. It’s as easy to do smear job on Paul as it is on Obama. I have never been interested in that dimension of politics and never will be. People who rely on those tactics are admitting that they can’t win substantive policy arguments. You may recall that when Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs suddenly renounced his extreme Islamophobia I instantly forgave him and praised his ability to learn and grow. I cut people slack and believe they can change. If Ron Paul sounded like David Duke now I would be first in line to obstruct his ambitions. I abhor racism.
