It was not a good night for employees at a Kalamazoo, Michigan Wendy’s. Why? A drive-thru order turned into a melee – outside of, and inside, the restaurant. As reported by The Kalamazoo Gazette: Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers said they were called to the restaurant at 2814 Portage St. at about 12:17 a.m. Saturday to quell a large fight. Upon arrival, officers encountered a loud disturbance between unsatisfied customers and frustrated employees inside the business, according to a police news release. Remember, these were drive-thru customers. During their investigation, officers were told the incident started outside when four customers in a vehicle, voiced their displeasure with an employee at the drive-up window. According to the news release, customers said there was a discrepancy between the food that was ordered and that what they received. Wendy’s workers said it was simply a communication breakdown that could have been easily fixed. But it wasn’t … ……

The post office isn’t obsolete yet, but it will be soon if Congress continues with business as usual. And if Congress can’t fix the postal service, it’s a grim indicator of its ability to rein in the national debt, curtail runaway entitlement spending, or get the economy back on track.

Really moron? I’ll go tell that to Hitler, and North Koreans, and German and French soldiers of WW1, and Hirihito, and Mussolini in WW2. There was much devastation, gas was even used, and bodies were piled up…I dont remember any one suggesting they were a ‘subject to a 2 party system in a country that used to be a beacon for democracy’. As far as Vietnam goes…JFK was bringing us home. The navy lied to LBJ about Gulf of Tonkin attack.. LBJ languished in pain for his roll until death.

You'd think, with as many people as there are on unemployment, the state would have the extension process sorted out. But apparently not.

Ever hear of the "patriot act" 1 and 2? How about the "war on drugs"? extraordinary rendition? the financial collapse? All examples of public policy, in other words, how the government controls you. Have you heard of "the land of the free"? Well, that's not America. America has the most people in prison of all the free world, combined.

Ok, here's my plan. First draw him into an altercation with some very personal insults…like against his religion or relatives or something…or if he has an obvious disfiguring feature or handicap use that. Once he starts beating you up just keep calm, this is where the strategy comes in. Let him really beat you up good. Keep doing the insults if you can, but try to concentrate on maintaining consciousness. Then, when he starts to get tired out from punching you so much then you go on your comeback and you defeat him.

This will work, I saw it in a movie and it was epic. (In the movie the fight was on like a timer so the plan didn't get a chance to work all the way, but in a "no rules" environment I think it should be guaranteed!)

remarks: I agree, it depends on how you use it and how well you know it. If you are serious about photography, your camera should be like an extension of you… technically. (I need a new digital camera, would love the new Canon Rebel)

    Amplify’d from http://www.inmaricopa.com

“I got a Canon Rebel for Christmas, it’s really cool, but I don’t know how to use it.” Sound familiar? I hear this all the time. Just substitute “Canon Rebel” with a few other digital SLR camera models, and I’m sure hundreds of people in Maricopa alone can relate. But no fear! Just read the manual. Find your language. Follow the instructions. It’s the fat little booklet. It’s in English, but it doesn’t sound like any language you know. It might as well be Latin, because you “can’t understand what the instruction book is saying.” Darn it. So cross that off your list. But you did the right thing. Too bad you don’t understand that camera yet.

If your computer has separate user accounts for each user (i.e. each user has their own desktop etc, I know for sure Windows XP and Vista have the capability to be set up this way), you shouldn't have any issues. On computers set up this way iTunes treats each user account like a separate computer and thus creates separate libraries for each user. So if your sister had her iTunes library set up on her user account, and you opened up iTunes on yours you would have a blank library.

User accounts can be set up in Windows under "User Accounts" on the control panel.

Austerity is falling disproportionately heavily on women; but Wednesday offers a chance for George Osborne to rectify the injustice brought about by public sector cuts Equal pay, affordable childcare, and a decent retirement should be every woman’s right. But the Fawcett Society’s powerful analysis shows we cannot take progress for granted, and that it is up to each generation of women to defend what has been achieved, as well as take it further. The frontline services that women rely on most – like Sure Start and extended schools – are being badly damaged by the government’s insistence on cutting so far and so fast. Over the last three months, 81% of the increase in unemployment has been among women. Research commissioned by Yvette Cooper, the shadow home secretary, shows that women are paying more than two-thirds of the cost of the changes to tax, tax credits, benefits, pay and pensions that George Osborne has introduced. This week the chancellor has a chance to rectify some of his…

As my partner Bipul Sinha noted in a post last year, direct selling is one of the most interesting opportunities in commerce in the time of social. Direct selling is being invigorated right now, not just in Latin America, but also in the US, due to three key reasons. The first is the economy. In this slow economy, people are more willing to supplement their income (and seek alternative career paths) than they have been over the last few decades. Direct sales is one of the most attractive and accessible ways for people to supplement their income. The last golden age of direct sales was during a period when women had few traditional career path options. As more women found success in the mainstream economy, the labor pool available to direct sales diminished. In this slow recovery, with unemployment still high, more people are willing to explore direct sales.
