You are not different, don't let anyone let you think that, it's them that are pathetic so forget them. If you still feel uncomfortable grow your hair over it or their are designer ones that go right in your ear and are barely visible but they are costly, but other than that forget them theres nothing wrong with it or make you inferior in my eyes and most other people's eyes you are equal to us I'm not boasting this but i know 2 people who are partially deaf and one that is profoundly deaf.
