Hearing Google say that Android 2.2 would be filtering out to the Nexus One in short order was no huge shock — after all, it’s Google’s first smartphone. But for those who purchased Motorola’s first heavy-hitter since the RAZR, it looks as if they’ll be close behind in enjoying the spoils. According to a Motorola spokesperson quoted at Slashgear (full statement is past the break), the company is expecting the original Droid to get Android 2.2 “in the near future,” though he / she wouldn’t go so far as to provide specifics beyond that. Better still, the same person stated that Motorola is excited about Froyo in general, and it’s “looking forward to integrating it on [the firm's] Android-based devices as [the software] is made available.” We hate to read too deeply into anything, but “devices” sure gets our digits tingling. Recently, they think that I may have an autoimmune diesease and we ahd almost thought i could have been menieres disease but It isn’t supposedly. I will not be able to wear a hearing aid on my left ear thought because it is completely deaf but I have the Baha hearing aid that required a surgery (bone anchored). But overall this is where Im at right now

I'd try a steamy hot shower and a good dose of some type sinus medication. My kid went to the doctor yesterday with very similar symptoms and that's what they diagnosed for her. The pollen count is so high (here anyway) that people not normally bothered are having major problems with it. Good luck.

    * the drainage backs up and fills your sinus cavities badly when you sleep which can cause major ear pain.

Current hearing threshold level in either ear greater than that described below is disqualifying:

    (1) Pure tone at 500, 1000, and 2000 cycles per second for each ear of not more than 30 decibels (dB) on the average, with no individual level greater than 35 dB at those frequencies.

    (2) Pure tone level not more than 45 dB at 3000 cycles per second or 55 dB at 4000 cycles per second for each ear.

    (3) There is no standard for 6000 cycles per second.

Current or history of hearing aid use (V53.2) is disqualifying.

I would be getting it checked ASAP. Hearing loss does not always come back. When I was in the Marines, we had tanks go off next to us that left us ringing too. Now I have about a 20% hearing loss from it and that was about 20 years ago. You may have done some real damage to the ear drum so there is no harm in going in and having it examined.

Hearing aids are "self contained" and can be used anywhere. FM listening headsets are used only in auditoriums and churches where there is a transmitter set up to rebroadcast the sound coming out of the PA system. The FM listening device (receiver) then picks up the broadcast.

I have noticed that most people take their hearing aids out when using the assisted listening headsets.

To make a long answer short, yes you still will need your hearing aid, but you may choose to take it out when using the FM listening device.
