The vibration of the skull and inner ear stimulate the nerve fibers in the inner ear, allowing hearing.
Who is a candidate for the Baha?
The Baha is a good solution for people who have suffered hearing loss due to chronic ear infections or congenital middle ear defects. The device bypasses the outer and middle ear areas to get to the inner ear. As long as the inner ear is intact and functions properly, the Baha can be successfully used. Those who continue to suffer from ear infections will find that the device does not aggravate the situation as other types of hearing aid often do. People who have congenital defects that prevented good hearing will find excellent results when using the Baha.
The bone anchored hearing aid is also a good option for those who have trouble adapting to the feel of a traditional hearing aid. Not only does it alleviate discomfort problems but it can also help relieve problems related to feedback and amplification that are resolved when using the Baha.
What about those with deafness in one ear?
One of the best things about the Baha is that it helps those with a deaf ear. Prior to Baha, people with unilateral deafness did not have many satisfactory options for improved hearing. Recently, the Baha was cleared by the FDA as a solution for unilateral deafness. The Baha hearing aid is placed on the side of the deaf ear. It transmits sounds from the deaf ear to the normal ear, resulting in a sensation of hearing in the deaf ear.

Actually, nothing is difficult to buy for a computer. In the PC3200 designation,"PC" refers to DDR (as opposed to PC2=DDR2, PC3=DDR3) and 3200 = the speed multiplier. You need to see how many slots your motherboard has (probably 4) and how many are currently occupied (is it just 1?). If there's just one stick in there now, you only need 1 to replace it, if there are 2 (or 4) you need to replace them in pairs (2x1gb DIMMs = 2gb). Whichever it is, choose PC3200 or a higher number (ex. PC6400 etc.) and stick it in there. If there are any problems, go into the BIOS at boot and choose "auto" for your RAM timings and other setting and everything should be fine, or manually set them (CAS, RAS etc.) to the timings printed on the RAM or it's packaging.

i have single-sided deafness and this product was going to be my only chance of being able to hear from my right ear. I went to the doctor and found out the implant would do nothing for me as my inner ear doesn’t work, meaning the nerves that send the sounds from my ear to my brain don’t work, they don’t funtion at all, so the BAHA won’t work for me.

SEO Link Building On Steroid – Ways to Maximize Your Backlinks
In this post, I am going to cover more on SEO link building and run through several ways to maximize your backlinks. In my previous post about RSS Backlink Traffic, I mentioned using RSS to build 2nd tier backlinks. Some people might be confused the purpose of 2nd tier backlinks and why you need them. I totally understand where you come from because this is not a popular backlinking technique and not many people talk about this yet.
Can Google Find Your Backlinks?
I believe most of you are aware that you should use anchored text to link back to your website. So, you have built a few dozens backlinks with your keyword as the anchored text using article marketing, press release, social bookmark, forum profile, blog comments, etc…Now what? Does your backlinking stop here? Do you just sit back and hope your keyword will get ranked on the front page of Google?
Before I go further, we should understand that if the backlinks are not indexed by the Google, they are just dead links. All the effort you spend to submit articles, social bookmark, forum profile, etc…are drained if your backlinks are not indexed. Generally, article directories such as Ezine Articles, Article Base, etc…are being crawled by Google every now and then and hence it is not an issue in terms of getting indexed.
However, if you use a submitter to do mass submission, you might notice some of the article directories are not as popular as the top article directories such as Ezine Articles and this is where you should come in to make sure your backlinks are indexed.
Getting Your Backlinks Indexed
There are several ways to get your backlinks indexed, the easiest way is to have 2nd tier backlinks pointing to your backlink URL. This means that if you have an article at Article Site1 with the URL –> http://www.ArticleSite1.com/YourArticle1.html, you should build some backlinks to point to your article URL.
1. Using RSS
One of my favorite is to use RSS links as 2nd tier backlinks to point back to my article sites. Almost all the article directories has the RSS function to allow people to subscribe to their favorite topics or author. So, you can take advantage of this feature by grabbing your own RSS and submit it to RSS aggregator sites. You will get backlinks from the RSS aggregator sites you submitted to.
Refer to the illustration below to see how I get my RSS feed from Ezine Articles. After you get your RSS feed URL, you can submit to RSS Aggregator sites. You can do the same to your other article directories that you submitted to. You only need to do this once because the RSS feed will update itself and you will get links from RSS aggregators site to each of your article automatically.
If you have created forum profiles for backlinking purpose, it is essential to build 2nd tier backlinks to point to that profile links to ensure your backlinks will be found and indexed by Google because generally profile links take ages to get indexed by Google (if they do get indexed).
2. Social Bookmarking
You can also social bookmark your articles, profile links, press release links, etc…using Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, etc…to speed up the indexing process.
Essentially you can build 2nd tier backlinks with Social bookmark and RSS feed to all your 1st tier backlinks.
Boosting Link Juice
On top of the benefit of getting your backlinks indexed, you will also receive massive link juice from these these 2nd tier backlinks and eventually pass down to your money site. This is great for SEO link building.
In short, each of your 1st tier backlinks will be boosted because they receive the link juice passing through from the 2nd tier links. Eventually, your money site will get the most benefit because your 1st tier backlinks are all pointing to your money site.
Prevent Reverse Engineering
Do you know that you can use Yahoo Site Explorer to check backlinks of a site? Basically you can just type in your keyword in the Google, take the 1st site that show up in the Google Search Result Pages (SERPs) to Yahoo Site Explorer and you can discover some of their backlinks. You can then have a rough ideas what type of backlinks they use to rank their website on the 1st page of Google and you might be able to do the same.
If you use some “secret sources” (or black hat software) to build backlinks that you don’t want every dog and cat know about your SEO link building strategies, you can use multi-tier backlinking strategies to hide them (i.e. hide them in 2nd tier or even 3rd tier backlinks…). When people reverse engineer your site, they will only find out your some of your 1st tier backlinks.
