Personally i wouldnt change, You've got the model everyone wants, The slim for me looks cheap, The 60gb Ps3 is the daddy, If you go to any online shop you can get a 500gb hdd for about £50 – £70.

I think they had servants brush then air coats and suits. Washable clothing was done on the washboards. And clothes were not cleaned as often as today.

Yes, there are IR light dimmers. The problem with those is that IR is line of sight (RF isn't), so you'd be required to have them visible. They're not very cheap either.
If you want an RF remote, Amazon is selling refurbished Harmony 890s for $120.

I told my daughter to get excited to come home to a clean apartment. Use the time before you leave to tidy up. It feels so good to return to the warmth of it clean and nothing needing to be done.
