My brother wears 2 hearing aides, and he only had to wait about 1 and 1/2 weeks for his. I guess it just depends on where they send off for it.

Gran Turismo 5 seemed to be the Duke Nukem Forever of racing games; it didn’t feel like it would ever end up getting released. Your health insurance. You might contact the Lion's club in your area I know they do glasses. There may even be an organization that helps the hearing impaired. Ask at a hearing aid provider they should know.

There could be a number of possibilities going on such as endometriosis (just using endometriosis as an example only) but the only way to know for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

When it's due to accident it's not possible to restore (husband had same thing) so all you can do is amplify to whatever degree possible. Your hearing will still be distorted because of the damage. You might be expecting too much of a restoration to your hearing. If you have hearing aids then you have already been tested.

once the hair cells are damaged they are damaged. there is no magical-medicinal cure for a sensory/ neural hearing loss.
buck up and get your self some hearing aids. if you have a high frequency loss. make sure they have directional microphones and at the very least 8 channels so the audiologist has greater programming ease.

If I had to guess (and it’s an educated guess), those percentages are almost always arrived at via search logs, and I’d tend to agree with Iris’ comment. Back when I was designing search systems and, earlier, writing about OPACs, I was acutely aware that claims of high known item searching were based on easy and sloppy assumptions about what constitutes a known item.
