D.L. Stewart: ‘Cool’ dad is really tuned out
A few years after they were introduced, I decided to buy an iPod. I had no demonstrable need of one, but I figured walking around with iBuds stuck in my ears would prove to my kids I still was pretty cool. Because keeping up with my kids has replaced keeping up with the Joneses as my goal in life.

GM makes a cam called the "Hot Cam". they make one that is a good performance enhancer that doesnt require mods internally. being its a TPI motor, it is more than capable of handling the power increase. And the GM hot cam has a nice lopey idle because of the lobe offset. go to youtube and there are some vids of cars idling with this cam. they sound nice.

You need some extracurricular activities. The Taekwondo will help, but it is not enough.

Some colleges recruit marching band members and even offer scholarships. However, if the eighth grade was a long time ago, you are now in at least the 10th grade and unless you have previous musical experience, you won't qualify for the marching band at most colleges, so it won't matter more than any other school activity if you are only starting to play an instrument in the tenth grade,

You should also do at least 100 hours of community service. You can do that in less than 3 weeks over vacation periods.

On the other hand, if you're planning to go to a state college (not a top state university) you will be virtually automatically admitted if your grades and board scores meet their criteria, even if you have no extracurricular activities.

Okay, I'm a writer, and I must have the right music to set the right mood. This is in case you might be in a certain mood to listen to a certain song:

    Happy Mood includes:
Fall by Vivaldi; Allegro (Brandesburg Concerto No.2) by Bach; Strauss's Die Fledermaus, Hunting Polka, and Radetzky March; and of course, Spring by Vivaldi!

    Easier mood includes:
Pachelbel's Canon; Many Bach songs like Sheep May Safely Graze, and Sanctify Us by thy Goodness and Minuet&Badinerie the orchestral suite No.2; Chopin fits in here alot, with sweet piano melodies. If you like Debussy, like said above, Claire de Lune est une pièce assez manifique! Like the guy said above, or below, Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven though is really nice. The only thing he didn't exaggerate on, seriously!

    Intense mood:
    Raindrop by Chopin
    Summer by Vivaldi
Winter by Vivaldi and MY favourite and most inspirational:
Cello Duo Concerto in G minor by Vivaldi. It's so intense, it's awesome!

Okay, those are my favourite songs that I know. For the lullabies, (Frédéric) Chopin and (Johann Sebastien) Bach are really great. Beethoven kicks it too much, I find, and his symphonies are just too long! I'm sure you'll get what you need on Limewire, and there are many availible CDs of these songs and authors in stores.

    Oh!

    Depressed Mood:
Platoon Soundtrack Adagio for Strings. Seriously, this will plunge you into deeper darkness. But, it's extremely beautiful.

I hope this helped! Have a great day! Contact me if you need more information or advice!! Oh! Quickly before I go! The Hungarian Dance! Don't listen to them! They'll get in your head and it'll be the only thing you'll ever think of humming for the rest of your life. Personal experience.

ONE OF the world’s most watched media stories last year was the rescue of the 33 Chilean miners who had been trapped underground for 69 days. Almost two billion people tuned into the live news coverage. Jose Henriquez, the 24th miner to be rescued, was recently in the UK for the first time to share his story. Jesus House in Brent Cross, north London, one of the largest black majority churches in the UK, was Jose’s first stop. This was a testimony no one wanted to miss, and the church was packed to capacity when I arrived. Jose was warmly introduced to the congregation by Reverend Agu Irukwu, pastor of Jesus House and head of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the UK’s largest and fastest growing

Learn to do the tricks well. That will impress the heck out of most of the guys.
Be yourself and don't put up with crap. Some of the guys will be jerks just because you are a chick, ignore them.
Dress a little "cute" to really stand out. If you dress too masculine (looking like the guys) people will wonder about your sexual orientation. It may also get a few other chicks to try it out so you can build a group of close friends to bounce ideas off of.

What do you get when you collect and categorize the reading interests and intentions of millions of people exploring around the web? Fans of social bookmarking service Delicious have always believed you get a big win-win: bookmarkers are able to access links of interest them later, from any computer, and the rest of us get to watch from the outside and discover interesting new links in the wake of all that saving. Delicious didn’t really work out that well in the long run, though, and five years after it was acquired then neglected by Yahoo – it was bought this Spring by a team led by Youtube co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. Jenna Wortham of the New York Times caught up with the new company this weekend and reported on some of the thinking behind the forthcoming rebirth of Delicious. Sponsor Most everyone agrees that the biggest problem in growing Delicious has been its sparse, utilitarian design; something believed to turn off mainstream users when they come to the site. Chen…

Ahead of the FOMC meeting later this afternoon, equity CFD trading markets have been buoyant taking their lead from Wall Street’s advances yesterday.

The release of the German ZEW sentiment data has also given the markets a boost beating the expectations by a long margin.

With the risk appetite well tuned, European banks have rallied with HSBC and StanChart adding 2.28% and 1.98% respectively.

On Monday’s “Comedy Bang Bang” podcast, Scott Aukerman announced that he’d just finished his first TV directing gig — a 30-minute episode of “Between Two Ferns” that will air on Comedy Central May 6. The Zach Galifianakis-hosted Funny Or Die web-series has been a favorite for fans of comedy and general goofiness alike, asking guests like Will Ferrel and Jennifer Aniston to sit between two potted ferns while the comedian does his best to make them feel wildly uncomfortable. The episode, “Between Two Ferns: A Fairy Tale of New York,” marks the series’ jump out of America’s computer screens and onto their TVs, and will feature interviews with guests Tina Fey, Jon Stewart and Sir Richard Branson. Bloggers are already speculating that Branson may end up being a comedian in character, but no matter what the case, that lineup is pretty unbeatable. There’s no word yet as to whether there will be more “Ferns” to come, or if this is a one-time affair. The episode will air on Comedy Central May…
