Sloan Churman, 29, was born deaf and had never heard the sound of her own voice—until last week.
Eight weeks ago, Churman underwent surgery for a hearing implant called The Esteem Implant by Envoy Medical. Though she’d been wearing hearing aids since the age of 2, she says they “only help so much.” She had her husband record the activation of the implant.
We dare you not to break out into tears with her.
Churmman uploaded the video on YouTube and responded to touched commenters, “Thanks guys! I kind of wish my hubby would have recorded a little longer but he was crying and wanting to bounce around the room : )”

The difference is that vision problems are a big deal. You need to be able to see things clearly. With hearing, as long as you can hear "enough," you're all right. Most of us don't need to hear things from a mile away. We aren't hunting in the woods anymore.

Hurting people hurt others. Parents and others classmates-bully and use words to trick you and to get a sick high from it. Seeing things and all the so called false mental problems start, but are not disorders. Abuse can cause all known so called mental problems.- BP, OCD, and all others. They have the problem- you only have a reaction to the abuse.

Demons are evil, deceptive, and destructive. According to 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as “angels of light” and as “servants of righteousness.” Appearing as a “ghost” and impersonating and talking as a deceased human being definitely is a disguise that demons use and do other things like messing with your mind, rapid cycling, instant crying- even when they are not visible and abuse brings them as well as other things.

Hearing voices/Mood swings – Common words heard– Lets kill him/her/rape. So you have more than one entity speaking. Happy then crying? this is the classic demonic example.

If you can hear the doctor speaking to you at 6 feet, with your back turned, using BOTH ears, you will pass.

This is the primary test for the FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate. (and 2&3 as well)

If you fail the test, you can elect to have an audiometric test done.

Here are the actual requirements:

I don't know the adult equivalent.

My son is 12 and has trouble hearing higher pitches. He also loves music and i was looking for some good headphones (not in the ear earphones) that might work better than bog standard headphones.
