None,zip, not a problem what so ever. In the first place, it is in a stand-by receive mode and is not transmitting. It just sits there waiting for the proper encoded input signal to open it's squelch circuit, so it can receive the signal from the correct hand set. It then sends a very low level RF signal back to the remote hand set to complete the duplex path. When a land line signal comes in, it turns on the same xmitter signal and calls the hand set. In either case, the very low level (that's why it won't work over much of a range, if you take the hand set out side and start walking down the street with it) RF signal that it emits and at the frequency it works on, gives less "radiation" then you can get walking on the sand of a beach in bright sun light. So…ignore all the I-net rumors you may be hearing re radiation from cell phones, 2-way radios etc.

Aside from the iPhone, WinMobile phones have free and fee based applications if you search the internet for them. Symbian phones also but ATT only has one phone with that OS, the Nokia 6650.

Ask other dog owners for vet recommendations. Visit the local dog hang outs or the shelter and ask if the people there have any particular recommendations. Calling around and asking for basic prices isn't a bad idea either….most vets have a frequently asked prices sheet readily available for their employees to answer the question of "how much does (exam, shots, spay/neuter, etc) cost?" Just keep in mind that sometimes you get what you pay for and the cheapest vet may not be the best. There are some vets in my area that cost almost half as much as my vet…but the horror stories I've heard about these vets are so bad that I wouldn't take my pets there even in an emergency. This is why asking around for recommendations is always a good idea.

Yes, you zap each bad cell with 12v DC for 1 to 3 seconds, then check its voltage. Should be 1.2 volts. Then put it back together and charge it. But, use it a bit after its charged. Storing a fully charged battery is one of the things that leads to its failure. Thanks for the comments, Paul!
