It depends on the industry you're in. Mostly this is defined by revenue and not employees. The following link provides some guidance. For purposes of competetive bid contracts there are some other measurements used and they vary greatly. At other times, you'll see the number of employees mentioned also and this is typically under 100.

Contact your local Sertoma Club, a wonderful non-profit organization that's focus is on Speech & Hearing. Perhaps thru Chamber of Commerce would have a contact name. My club has paid for hearing aids & TDY machines for those in need in our own community. Also provided the local hospital with the new equipment to test new born babies hearing. Budgets are being set now. Contact a member in Sertoma & tell them of your plight.

All of the above are good answers. If you don't have really a really cold winter, impatiens and begonias may even winter over. Coleus comes in a huge number of varieties. When inter-planted with flowering shade plants, they really make a splash! They will eventually go to seed, so to keep them healthy, cut off any seed heads that develop.

You can trim impatiens and begonias to keep them from getting 'leggy' late in the year. Pinching the ends of new shoots works best – when they get to be the size that you want.

A water-soluble plant food is a good idea once or twice a month. Container plants don't have the advantage of sending down deep roots so they rely on us to feed them.

You almost can't over water these varieties, but don't leave them in standing water unless it is very hot. If they dry out, they may wilt a bit, but will bounce back with a good soaking.

Just about everything grows well in Portland. Good luck!

As a nurse I can tell you, we don't know what kind of lives ppl lead. The church going modest looking man could be hooking up with hookers on the side & putting his wife at risk as well. Everybody is a potential for carrying the HIV virus. When it comes to needle sticks we don't take any chances. In a health-care setting that is taken very seriously and it be should taken very seriously. When needle sticks occur you have to fill out paperwork and then you have to get tested for the HIV virus, Hepatitis, and I'm sure other blood contagious diseases.

Maybe there is only a 1 percent chance of actually getting HIV from a needle stick but why would anyone take that chance & not get tested. It sort of sounds like your professor was a little blase about it. Those matters are taken very serious in a health-care setting and if it's not, then it should be. Regardless though, it is OSHA law that they have you get tested anyways.

Image via Wikipedia By ABHINAY KUMAR SHARMA ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (DOC & PUB), UTTARAKHAND STATE AIDS CONTROL SOCIETY, NACO, GOVT. Of INDIA New Delhi, June 13, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio / PIB-India) The World Health Organization and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies initiated World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) in 2004. It takes place on June 14 each year and provides an opportunity for a united, national and global celebration on a day that has particular significance-the birthday of Karl Landsteiner, the Nobel Prize winner who discovered the ABO blood group system. The theme for World Blood Donor Day 2011 is, “More blood. More life.” This theme reinforces the urgent need for more people all over the world to become lifesavers by volunteering to donate blood regularly. “It’s still flying?” This is a question I and many of my fellow space enthusiasts have been hearing a lot lately. As the space shuttle program comes to an end, public excitement around space travel seems to be rekindled. Attention sparked up again as people heard that Space Shuttle Atlantis was preparing to launch for the last time, marking the end of the space shuttle program. But for one young person, that interest had never faded, and witnessing the shuttle’s final flight became an imperative, a very personal hope and dream. That person was me. Continue reading →

It’s the Jews in the Federal Reserve, on Wall Street and in our government that have caused this disaster, and they are the ones who planned it, they are the ones who will get even richer from it. The American people need to wake up to the fact that the majority of the Jews in this country and Israel, are not our friends. They are not working to strengthen America, they are traitors working to make Israel strong enough to deal with anyone, including America. Nothing but TRAITORS!

And what is Fannie and Freddie? Guess which political party dominates their boards? They created the secondary mortgage market to get banks to make loans they wouldn’t keep. Back by taxpayer dollars. And they had lose standards in the mtgs they bought, which encouraged other banks to make bad loans. No govt created F & F, far fewer bad loans. Plus Spitzer forced out the AIG CEO (who didn’t invest heavily in derivatives like his replacement) on trumped up charges. For starters.
