Most of them don’t care but for the DA’s in MA from my experience with Question 2 decrim. If you look at who funded our opposition? The police and District Attorneys. That’s not much to overcome when you have the broad public support we do. And now the money from the medical dispensary businesses throwing into campaigns. There’s what you think and what I know. California, legalizes this year through the ballot, has a right to grow your own. This is what’s important and to be fought for.

Depends on the hearing loss.
The little hairs in your ears vibrate and transmit the sound through the three bones of the ear, and into your brain. Excessive vibration can destroy them, and no they dont grow back.
Hearing aids amplify the sound into the canal, making it easier for partially damaged parts to pick up the vibrations.
If you become deaf due to an internal 'defect', then generally you will not get any better. These people usually have cochlear implants, but still will not hear very well.
When you get sick and get fluid in your ears, this can return to normal healing as long as the infection is treated and no damage is done to the bones of the ear.

The human ear can loose hearing in several ranges of frequencies. I lost normal hearing in my right ear. I cannot hear people speak, TV, Radio, and such. But during hearing tests, I can hear pitches that I cannot hear with me left ear. My loss was attrubited to an explosion in my earlier Army days. So it didn't occur over a period of time, but as an injury.
Yes, after going through many, many tests and from numerous doctor visits, I have learned that a person can loose hearing by being exposed to different levels of frequencies.

They are called in-the-ear monitors. They allow the musician to hear him or herself while performing, but still protect their hearing from excessive noise from the rest of the band/speakers.
If a musician was simply to plug their ears with earplugs, it would protect them from the loud noise but would alter they way they sound to themselves. Give it a try – put your fingers in your ears and talk. Your voice sounds much different. For a musician this is not an option so back in the days many would perform without ear protection. The consequence? Hearing loss later in life.
Digital technology has allowed musicians to protect themselves but still hear themselves (and their band) perform. The in-the-ear monitors are expensive but very much worth it when in the long run they protect their hearing.

Sound repetition allows us to memorize complex sounds in a very quick, effective and durable way. According to new research, this form of auditory learning is believed to occur in daily life to help us identify and memorize sound patterns; it allows, for example, immediate recognition of sounds which become familiar through experience, such as the voice of relatives. The same mechanism is involved in the relearning of certain sounds, in particular when using hearing aids.

The Oticon Delta was made for people like your mother. It is a high end digital hearing aid with lots of cool bells and whistles. It is really small and has an almost invisible mold (the part that goes into the ear) which can aid up to moderate losses.
Other aids worth considering is anything that you can get in the following configurations — ITE (in the ear), ITC (in the canal), or CIC (completely in canal). Most major manufacturers have several models that can be obtained in these configurations.
The smaller hearing aids are typically for less severe losses so you need to check with an audiologist to see for sure whether her loss is compatible with this technology
Good luck !

If you are experiencing hearing loss and are beginning to look at your hearing aid purchasing options, you”ve come to the right place. In this article, we will examine the different ways you can purchase hearing aids, a few of the different types of hearing aids and more. Some of your hearing aid options include: ” Analog models “” Imagine a tiny microphone in your ear, and you pretty much have a general description of an analog hearing aid. Though often effective enough for many peoples” needs, they do not offer the vast customization available in digital models. In my experience, after having used hearing aids for ten plus years, I have found name brand batteries like Rayovac or Duracell to be the longest lasting batteries. I tried out a few really cheap brands for a while like icelltec, but noticed i would get duds and batteries that only lasted two or three days. I get my batteries online now from Cheap Hearing Aid Batteries Canada but feel free to research around for the best prices online. It's nice because you just receive the batteries in the mail.

Two to three in every 1,000 children are born with a hearing loss that is likely to impact development. Research of the auditory system at its early developmental stages, and efforts to identify hearing loss and initiate appropriate rehabilitation strategies, can be crucial to the healthy development of a child. Laurie Eisenberg, Ph.D., is a House Ear Institute investigator on two multicenter projects involved in understanding the effects of hearing loss on young children as they mature; both studies are funded by the National Institutes of Health…

I think both of those providers have great family plans, by the way and have good coverage in your area.

Can you sign away your right of review? – “When I walked into the offices of Dr. Ken Cirka, I was looking for cleaner teeth, not material for an Ars Technica story. I needed a new dentist, and Yelp says Dr. Cirka is one of the best in the Philadelphia area. The receptionist handed me a clipboard with forms to fill out. After the usual patient information form, there was a “mutual privacy agreement” that asked me to transfer ownership of any public commentary I might write in the future to Dr. Cirka. Surprised and a little outraged by this, I got into a lengthy discussion with Dr. Cirka’s office manager that ended in me refusing to sign and her showing me the door.”

If your hearing isn't too bad then you can be fit with hearing aids that are called "open fit". This leaves your ear canal as open as possible- this combined with the amplification have helped a lot of people who suffer from tinnitus.
A GOOD QUALITY hearing aid is not cheap. You should expect to pay anywhere from 1200-2800 PER AID, and it can be more depending on where you live. But, keep in mind these are an investment that should help you for AT LEAST 5 years. Some insurances will cover a small portion of your hearing aids, but most don't. There is something called "Care Credit" that some audiologists use to help their patients finance their hearing aids…its similar to if you were to buy a home appliance and they offer you no interest for however many months.
But no matter what, you need to get a thorough evaluation by an audiologist and get their best recommendation. Don't go to Beltone, Walmart, Amplifone, Nu Ear, Miracle Ear, or any large chain…their first concern is making commission and hoping that you don't return your aids within the trial period. Go to a licensed audiologist who cares about your hearing over the sale.
