Actually it's not hard to learn to play the baritone ukulele. You may have trouble stretching your fingers for chording tho'. The baritone ukulele is the first four strings of a guitar. So, if you know anything about a guitar, or have one, remove the two bass strings and you have a baritone ukulele. Any song with guitar chords will work for you b/c you won't have the two bass strings to mess with.
And yes, you can learn off Youtube. You can also learn to play a regular ukulele off Youtube also.

It's hard even taking it in class so I imagine teaching it to yourself would be very difficult especially when it comes to things like pronounciation. Try making flash cards for some words. That will help you remember more. Like the guy before me said, it will take patience but it can be done.
