I would doubt it. There are many, many , many apartments all over Houston. Most of the people who lost their homes are staying in Hotels. Most people are not going to want to sign a lease agreement while waiting for there homes to be repaired.

As a dental educator I constantly stressed proper posture and technique. Some students just would not adopt the proper techneques and I am sure that they will regret it later. Some were severely hunched over working on their patients. After being corrected, I would check back a while later and there they were back to their old posture.
Thus said, some people just have anatomy which is not strong enough for the work required. Not that physical strength is needed, just the ability to do repetitive things for long periods of time. Many dentists I know have back problems etc and many hygienists, even some of the educators I know have problems with carpal tunnel syndrom. Perhaps it is just not avoidable.

Being 15 years old, shes getting on a bit. A vet visit is necessary to ensure there isnt anything else going on. Some dogs get a bit funny and fussy as they reach their twilight years. The best thing to feed an underweight dog is a bit of cooked rice with some chicken broth, several times a day. After a few days, start adding shredded poached chicken. Then you can add vegetable broth, which you can poach the chicken in. Just get a pot of water, throw in some veges like carrot, sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower, Strain the veges out, but you can keep the veges, frozen, for mashing and adding later. Finally, you can add some beef gravy. By the end of week 2, you should be feeding her, shredded poached chicken, mashed cooked vegetables, rice and beef gravy. At least 3 times a day until she gets to a decent weight, then only twice a day. You can continue feeding her this, as long as you dont mind cooking it. You can make up large batches, get some containers and dish it out into the containers into the right size portion, freeze it, then just microwave defrost it at feeding time. This is what i was recommended for my sick dog. I was also recommended to add a tablespoon of natural, unflavoured yoghurt to one feed a day, once she seemed healthier, just to maintain good digestive health.

They'll have computers in the labs, classrooms, and libraries. That doesn't take care of your need in the hallway (last minute assignment finishing), the dorm (emailing friends and IMs), or McDonalds (can't stop working on homework to eat because the assignment is due at 8:30 tomorrow morning).
For graphic design – the power on a desktop is a lot of help but the portability of a laptop may outweigh that.
The mac will be essential for many of your courses, the artist standard machine is a mac and that's the software you're going to have to use.
I'd say the laptop will get more use than a desktop and provide better support for you education. The real expense isn't the computer though – be prepared to drop some bucks on software. This is why many people use the labs. A full version set of Adobe CS is some major money as are most high end CAD applications. Without that software on your machine – the homework angle is moot.
