Olivia and the rest of our family wish to thank Siemens and all the brilliant people around the world who worked on these wonderful waterproof hearing aids. She can now participate in school water sports. And she won’t feel left out anymore at pool parties. I believe it is a requirement of all hospitals accredited by JCAHO to have a M&M – Morbidity and Mortality committee. This committee reviews all adverse events. By-laws of different hospitals vary, but in one of the hospitals I was associated with, adverse reports from M&M were referred to the Patient Care Committee, and that was the committee where a doctor was called to justify his or her actions. The committee could approve or disapprove the justifications. Adverse reports could result in temporary or permanent suspension from the hospital staff, or the loss of particular privileges, such as use of the operating room.

A Coronor's Inquest is generally held when there is reason to believe death was due to a felony or possibly a misdemeanor. I have no legal expertise, but malpractice is a tort, not a felony or misdemeanor.

Medical records and diagnosis along with treatment options are presented to the judge. Patient advocate gives opinion and judge makes decision. Judge usually agrees to sound medical procedure.

Since the state has removed the patient's ability to make choices, the judge must make them. it is a fairly pro forma process.

There could be a number of possibilities going on such as endometriosis (just using endometriosis as an example only) but the only way to know for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

Officially, the armed services each have their own testing standards for hearing. The actual test is technical but basically involves listening to sounds of decreasing/increasing pitch, tone, and volume and your ability to follow said sounds to the end of the spectrum.

generally, it is not encouraged for people that have hearing disabilities to enlist in the military….mostly because the army will refuse to pay disability for something that you had pre-service. those that are in the military and then lose their hearing are often submitted for medical boards that encourage them to leave the service.

depending on your hearing "score," it may be determined that you do or do not qualify for certain jobs. some jobs that require less reliance upon sound have qualifiers that may allow you to enter.

However, the official answer to your question can only be answered by the service you wish to work for. Since the entire recruiting process (up until the time you actually swear into service…delayed entry programs are not binding) is FREE, you are allowed to submit to the battery of tests and then walk away should you either not be elligble for the job you want, or not at all.
