one of two things will happen at the prelim exam, the defendant will either waive or hold his hearing…if he waives your son will sit in the pew for awhile and then after his waiver is accepted you all can go home….if the defendant hold his prelim exam your son MIGHT get called by the prosecutor to testify against the defendant…prosecutors are generally pretty soft with child witnesses but the defense attorney might not be so nice….just tell your son to speak confidently and to tell the truth
after this prelim exam the case will move towards trial…the prosecutor and defense will negotiate a plea deal and if they reach one your son will not have to testify again, but if the defendant holds a trial then your son might have to testify at the trial (and will be asked very similar questions as at the prelim exam)
at the prelim exam lots of people are present, the judge, prosecutor, bailiff, court reporter, court clerk, defense counsel, defendant, several other attorneys and defendants and members of the general public (family of other defendants) I would warn you that the defendant might be sitting in the pew if he isn't in prison so try to sit far away from him/her if possible (make sure to check in with the prosecutor when you arrive to let them know you are there and to give your son a chance to talk with the prosecutor)

I get the feeling that AT&T hates me. That’s okay, I’m not too fond of them either. But despite that, they’re usually still pretty good about getting back to me about certain questions I have. That’s why I’m confused as to why I’m not hearing a peep about the 3G MicroCells they’re apparently giving away for free to some customers. When the report first broke over the weekend, I immediately reached out to AT&T to see what the deal is. After all, if AT&T is actually following my advice from March and giving the device away for free, I want to be the first to praise their good decision! But again, I’ve heard nothing for a few days now. Which is odd. I suspect it may have something to do with this being a very limited experiment. And they know that I’ll simply start yelling that everyone with poor AT&T service should be included.

You can deduct a hearing aid as a medical expense. However, medical deductions are limited to anything above 7.5% of your adjusted gross income. For example, say your AGI was $10,000. The hearing aid and other medical expenses would have to exceed $750. Then you would only get a deduction for the amount over. Say the hearing aid and other medical expense were $1,000. Your deduction would be $250. Also, you would need additional itemized dedcution(mortgage interest, charitable contributions, etc.) in exccess of the standard deduction to make it worth it.

It's hard to know unless you know more about the genes. It could be a dominant trait that was passed to you but not your siblings, or a recessive trait that your siblings would have, too, but is not obvious in them. My sister has something that my grandmother has, but no one else does – not mt grandmother's siblings, my dad's siblings OR any of my other siblings or my cousins. DNA can be strange like that so it really is hard to tell who may or may not have certain genetic traits.

I am not aware of the type of report you are looking for, but I will mention in my own experience working with HI children that children are MUCH tougher on hearing aids than adults, so anything that gets rave reviews from a parent is going to stand up to almost anything an adult can throw at it. My daughter and I have both worn the Phonak Claro and Oticon Syncro hearing aids and been very pleased with their durability.
If you are in an area with high humidity, you may want to consider some type of dehumidifier solution (Dry and Store comes to mind) as the water may be contributing to your frequent repairs.
