Supposing somebody goes to their audiologist on the 1st of a month, how soon will they be able to wear their INTERTON hearing aids, and what percentage of INTERTON employees wear hearing aids?

I would contact the manufacturer for a cash refund.
Without a receipt getting cash back is most likely not going to
happen.
Good luck.

well the durango i think still came with the 318 and 360 (5,2 v8 and 5,9v8) so if you want more power and space go w the durango, BUT in 4.7 v8 which this one has its got more horse than the 5.2 and almost as much as the 5.9. but its really about tourqe for speed. it depends what you want. both are great but off roading is better with the GC. we had a 2000 limited it was a fucking beast. more likely the GC will out last the durango

Suddenly the Republican mantra of “drill, baby, drill,” all makes sense … after all, the oil companies have plans to deal with situations like BP’s Deepwater Horizon rig catastrophe. And during today’s House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee hearing on the oil spill, Rex Tillerson, the Chairman and CEO of Exxon-Mobil, explained how his company would have jumped into action had it been one of their wells that blew: TILLERSON: We would have been ready to implement our oil spill response plan. STUPAK: That’s that nine page plan, right? TILLERSON: That’s that 500 page plan you referred to. STUPAK: Okay, there’s only nine on oil removal, 40 on media, nine on oil removal. So that nine pages would have been able to prevent the oil from hitting the Gulf shores? TILLERSON: The nine page plan would have done what the nine page plan says it’s intended to do, and it says to the maximum extent practicable. And if you’re thinking nine pages seems pretty skimpy, consider this — Exxon-Mobil’s…

The open ear aids are great if you don't have very much hearing loss in the low frequencies. the advantage that they offer is that they don't plug up the ear (occlusion effect) you won't get that stuffy sound when you talk. You'll ear the lower sounds (vowels) with your low frequency hearing that may not be damaged and the high frequency sounds especially above 2000Hz will be amplified by your aid. These aids are light and comfortable, and you can also have a custom open mold made if you aren't comfortable with the one provided. Oticon, Siemens, Phonak all have very good aids. Talk to your audiologist and they will be able to help you determine which one is right for you. I am unfamiliar with the Interton brand but do know that most hearing aids are fairly similar and sometimes when they claim to do something new and awesome, those tests were run in labs and don't really work all that well in real world experiences. If the open fit hearing aid is right for your hearing loss I'd say go for it! They are wonderful aids and any of the above would probably meet your needs. I use the company siemens, but you should go with what your audiologist recommends.
June 30th, 2010 at 10:08 pm
Did you get the hearing aid from a licensed audiologist? That person can get you any parts you need, and it may still be under warranty. I don't believe they sell directly to the public.
EDIT: Hey, I'm just the messenger here. My point was that if you had gotten it from a reputable physician or audiologist, you wouldn't have to pay for repairs. It might still be under warranty. And for the record, repairs that aren't under warranty are charged at the exact rate that the physician had to pay to get the part. That's not inflated, at least not in the practice where my daughter is an audi. I was hoping I could help you get your part, but you probably want to deal directly with Interon. Hope you get what you need.

You need distance vision of 20/20 and near vision that's at least 20/40. You can wear glasses to get this vision. You also cannot suffer from severe color blindness (mild color blindness is okay as long as you can pass the color vision tests accepted by the FAA).
If you can hear someone talking softly behind you, that's good enough to qualify in terms of hearing. Cockpits tend to be very noisy so unless you're nearly deaf you can hear well enough (some pilots tend to lose their hearing after years of flying, in fact).

You need to contact them and talk to them about becoming a distributor. This is the best way. If you are selling enough, then they may consider you. Keep in mind that they *might* have requirements that you need to meet (i.e. a store, accept credit cards, etc).
Cheers!

Have you considered creating a website about a subject that you enjoy and know a thing or two about? My wife and I have been running a few websites for about a year and are amazed at the results.
Basically you bulid a website with good/valuable information. People find your website when they are looking for the information you have written about. You make money when the seeker clicks your ads (from Google) or clicks/buys other things that are on your site (called Affiliate sales.)
To brainstorm the website idea, determine profitability, easily build the website, and optimize the web pages to get traffic we used a special web-based tool. The tool walks you through every step of the process with both video and text instructions. Its pretty amazing. You can see an example monthly commission check at the site below which is actually now out of date and lower than what we get now.
The website subjects we chose are surprisingly simple. Also, there are apparently people making 10x what we are earning on our site. Again, its amazing.
Check it out:

They can hear their music, only it's a little muffled. If they didn't have their plugs, they'd most likely be deaf.
And don't worry, they can hear you through the plugs too.

I don’t think that question has ever come up before. At least not explicitly. I, for one, would be sorry to see things divide up, since I learn so much from other kinds of librarians here. But I also know that this place can feel overwhelmingly academic-centric given that most of the membership are academic library types. Would there be a way to counteract that last part without diluting what I think is the best part of the LSW: the potential for mingling?

Maybe this can help you understand what digital signature is
A digital certificate is an electronic "credit card" that establishes your credentials when doing business or other transactions on the Web. It is issued by a certification authority (CA). It contains your name, a serial number, expiration dates, a copy of the certificate holder's public key (used for encrypting messages and digital signatures), and the digital signature of the certificate-issuing authority so that a recipient can verify that the certificate is real. Some digital certificates conform to a standard, X.509. Digital certificates can be kept in registries so that authenticating users can look up other users' public keys.
