I’ve used other hearing aids in the past that costs upwards of a few thousand dollars and the bionic hearing aid seems to beat them in both quality and cost. I give this hearing aid two thumbs up because I plan on buying one for my wife too.

I agree with what many of the other posters have already said, but I think it might be worth clarifying that there is a difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist, in case you were not aware of this. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor specializing in mental illnesses and to become a psychiatrist you definitely need to go to medical school after getting your undergraduate degree. As others have noted, there is no fixed degree requirement for getting into medical school and you would choose your specialty after getting your medical degree, but if you want to get into medical school there are some courses that you would need to take during your undergraduate years, and a pre-med, chemistry or biology degree would probably ensure that you are able to meet those requirements. Since your intention is to specialize in the mind, psychology would probably interest you as well, so either doing a double-major with one of the others or majoring in psychology but making sure you get enough of the hard sciences and the other courses required to get into a medical program, could also be a good idea. But really, you could also major in anything that interests you as long as you make sure you take the courses that will be required to get into med school.
On the other hand, many people confuse psychiatrists and psychologists and if you basically want to be a therapist without a medical degree, a psychology major sounds like it would be an appropriate choice to get you into the field you want. You could get into the field with an undergraduate degree, but a Ph.D. would allow you to get a job with greater responsibilities and become a licensed psychotherapist.
