N.J. attorney general reviewing consultant in Race to the Top application error
New Jersey’s attorney general has started a review of the consulting firm that was paid more than $500,000 to help prepare the state’s two unsuccessful applications for $400 million in federal Race to the Top educational grants.

Coz otherwise you're in the wrong section. This is Computers&Internet->Program Design.
But that's OK, us programmers are all smart anyway, so we'll probably give you a satisfactory answer anyway.
Essentially, the system is "perfect and without error" because it passed rigorous testing in the Quality Assurance Department. And so we release it to the customer. But obviously, the customer is not perfect nor without error, and so he'll sometimes see an error where there really isn't one.
But since the customer is the one paying the bills, we'll "fix" it for him anyway. It's just a big negotiation with the High Priests of both companies to determine whether the "error" the customer *thinks* he sees is a Bug (imperfection) or a Feature Request.
Since the system must have been perfect and without error, obviously the problem is convincing the customer that it's a Feature Request. So then we'll work on changing the system to meet the customer's amended concept of what the system *should* have been. And more importantly, how much the customer is going to pay us for this.
Then again the amended system goes to the Quality Assurance Department who'll put it thru another series of rigorous tests, and again declare that it is perfect and without error.
We'll repeat this process for as long as the customer is willing to pay us.

That's great that your little girl is already thinking about the future! A sales marketing consultant can earn a lot of money. There aren't a lot of schools that offer a sales marketing consultant major, per se, but you can find some great places on the web to get started (see my resource below). Anything having to do with sales will help her on her way also. I hope that if she really is interested in becoming a consultant that you help her toward that goal, it will be worth it in the end!

I'm a tutor for both middle and high school students. The biggest problem I see is that students sometimes don't understand some topics during class. I think it's most important to pay special attention while the class is actually going on, and make sure to give yourself written reminders about sections that confused you so you can ask the teacher or classmates about it later. I have students that take lots of notes and don't do well on tests because their notes included topics that they didn't quite get in the first place. By making sure your notes are comprehensive and understandable the very first time, you won't have to spend as much time reviewing them.

About a month ago, some additions to the code in Chromium (the open source browser behind Chrome) suggested that the long-fabled “GDrive” may be on the verge of actually launching. A week later, user-facing proof started appearing. Then earlier today, sharp-eyed social media consultant, Johannes Wigand, spotted something interesting during a presentation at a Google-sponsored event: something that sure looks a lot like Google Drive. And it is. Over the past month, we’ve been able to dig up more information about Google Drive. First of all, it is very real. And it is being used internally at Google. Of course, it was also real back in 2007 and 2008 before it was eventually killed. But talking to employees back then who saw and used the service all agreed that it was pretty wonky and not ready for prime time. This new version is expected to be much better.
