I wish he would have slowed the tap tempo down when he went through the subdivisions. They all started to sound like slapback ’cause the tempo was too quick for 8th note triplets and stuff to sound very distinct.

Here is my take on the whole thing. I was in hi-tech corp. for 24 years and last 10 in management roles. I think there is a place for sure for recruiters and HR. HR obviously will look after the company interests and representation in employee law related issues. We as managers need to know from them what is allowed and not allowed. Recruiters are also there for a purpose.
However, I think recruiters need to really know the details of the job that they are recruiting for. Too many times if you allow an inexperienced clerk (important person as well) to weed thru candidates, you may overlook some good ones.
Make sure that the recruiters will work closely with the hiring manager, recruiter is there to bring candidates to the table, not make final decisions on the person. It should be a good discussion. That is when experience comes in. Too may times you see corporations changing external recruiting companies.
As for the HR…HR would not be needed if it was not for the core business of the company. I have seen many times that some HR people tend to get "egotistical" and not willing to work with the managers. They seem to knoe what kind of person you need to hire. Again that was some.
From job seekers perspective, a good prompt status reporting would be very good. Good news or bad news, let the candidate know what is going on.
I always liked HR people who were a bit flexible within the company rules "bumber lanes" without breaking them. In this way you as a manager were able to develop talent and make employees happier.

Yes, with restrictions.
You must report the rent you receive as rental income on Schedule E. You can deduct expenses on a prorated basis, and others not at all, and certain expenses are capital improvements that must be depreciated over a period of time.
For example: You repair or improve your garage. Your tenant gets no use of the garage, only parking space in the driveway. You cannot take any expense or depreciation on the garage.
You replace the roof. That is a capital improvement which is depreciated over the life of the roof, not an expense taken all in one year. Based on the percentage of the property that you are renting out, you are entitled to the same percentage of the depreciation as a deduction against rental income. Any expenses must be prorated by the same percentage unless they are direct expenses, such as advertising cost for finding a tenant.
If you do take any depreciation, you must account for it when you eventually sell the property. That depreciation must be recaptured if it results in a gain. The reason being, in theory, the property depreciates in value, while in the real world, property generally appreciates. You are being allowed to take a loss that you really aren't suffering.
This situation, especially when splitting of costs between personal and business use is involved, is best handled by a tax professional.

While you are in Italy, I strongly suggest taking the train over to Caserta which is just south of Naples. Visit "La Reggia" it is the second largest palace in Europe next to Versaille. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The gardens are astonishing; they are filled with waterfalls, flowers and ponds like I have never seen before. The architecture and art within the palace is breathtaking: hand-made blown glass chandeliers, gold ornaments, beautiful views.
AMAZING!
It's only about a two hour or so train ride.

Normally the airlines will book you on the next flight going to your destination. They can even book you on another airline. If there are no flights available the airlines will overnight you at a hotel and pay for your room and a meal. You would then leave out on the first flight the following day. This has happened to me, it was inconvenient, but not the end of the world.

If you skip the placebo pills and go straight to the active pills, you will skip over your period entirely. That's fine, it's safe to do.
So, you'll just skip your period and not have one until the next month's placebo pills. You MAY experience a bit of spotting though, especially if you've recently started the pill.
