Every year about 150,000 people attend the Derby and most of the good tickets are far gone by now. You can call Churchill downs office and talk with them about tickets if you like.
If you go to the infield you will not be able to see the race. There are many obstructions preventing the view of the track there. I would advise you to get there early, even though the race is late in the day. There is much to see and a lot of excitement. Since I don't know how old you are I will tell you that the infield is mostly college age people and they are there for a party. Lots of drinking, etc. Have a great time at the Derby

I have no idea what you are asking, but it seems like you want to know why people who can hear sometimes act strangely around deaf people. To that, I say it is quite like when an English speaker attempts to speak to a non-English speaker who looks like they should be able to speak English, before realizing they cannot. It's instant embarassment, and quite confusing. You don't know exactly what to say at that point but, "sorry."

If you are that worried and the aforementioned thing doesn't work, when you suspect her of being sexually active, have "the talk" with her. Teach her about condoms… put her on birth control… but don't be scared about these things and your daughter knowing about them; you are educating your daughter, who is to become a young woman, and KEEPING HER SAFE from disease and unwanted pregnancy… as a mother should!

The whole country is a tourist trap for what you want to do.
Surfing and scuba diving can be done almost anywhere on the coast, but the best places are in Queensland on the Great Barrier Reef. You can get there from Brisbane, flying to Cairns Airport.
(BE WARNED! When you do go swimming NEVER go to an unpatrolled beach, the beaches are extremely dangerous and you should only use those with life savers present and stay between the flags.)
To be honest 3 weeks isn't enough even to see Queensland, let alone New Zealand and any Asian country. Sydney would be the main entry airport for Australia, and there are plenty of small cheap airlines for getting around internally, and to N.Z.
You don't say where you are coming from, but be aware the temperatures will be in the mid to high 30C (85-95F) at that time of year.
I honestly think you really need to think this through, otherwise you are just going to spend time in airports and hostels, instead of sight seeing and enjoying yourselves.
