if you can hear the noise that means your airdrums are being vibrated… the louder you turn it up the harder your airdrums vibrate, if you turn it up loud enough to make your air drums vibrate to hard they will get damaged and you will loos hearing, the only way something can be too low to not damage your ear is if it is on a frequency that doesnt vibrate your ears meaning you couldnt hear it anyway.. makeing a reallly pointless subwoofer

Contact your local Sertoma Club, a wonderful non-profit organization that's focus is on Speech & Hearing. Perhaps thru Chamber of Commerce would have a contact name. My club has paid for hearing aids & TDY machines for those in need in our own community.Also provided the local hospital with the new equipment to test new born babies hearing. Budgets are being set now. Contact a member in Sertoma & tell them of your plight.
