A music program can be downloaded into your system that you turn on and off with the touch of a button. The music setting allows more of the background noise to come through. Normally, most of this is minimized or filtered out.Golfers may have problems with wind noise; this too can be filtered out.A remote control can be programmed to adjust the volume, turn on/off individual programs and FM mode. If you have two hearing aids, the remote control will adjust both at the same time. A person might use a remote if they are uncomfortable changing settings by hand.

Since most of the body is water-based (making up 50-60% of our total body weight), the pH level has profound effects on all body chemistry, health and disease. An imbalanced pH describes the pH level of the body when it becomes too acidic or too alkaline for long periods of time. Extended pH imbalances of any kind are not well tolerated by the body. Indeed, the management of "pH" is so important that the body has developed strict accounting procedures to monitor acid-alkaline balances in every cell. Fundamentally, all regulatory mechanisms (including breathing, circulation, digestion, hormonal production, etc.) serve the purpose of balancing pH, by removing caustic metabolized acid residues from body tissues without damaging living cells. If the pH deviates too far to the acid side or too far to the alkaline side, cells become poisoned by their own toxic waste and die.
An acid is a chemical species that can donate a proton (H+), and a base is a species that can accept (gain) a proton, according to the common Brønstead-Lowry definition. (A subset of the Brønstead-Lowry definition for aqueous solutions is the Arrhenius definition, which defines an acid as a proton producer and a base as a hydroxide (OH-) producer.) Hence, the conjugate base of an acid is the species formed after the acid loses a proton; the base can then gain another proton to return to the acid. In solution, these two species (the acid and its conjugate base) exist in equilibrium.
Recall from this and earlier experiments in Chem 151 and 152 the definition of pH:

where [H+] is the molar concentration of protons in aqueous solution. When an acid is placed in water, free protons are generated according to the general reaction shown in Equation 3. Note: HA and A- are generic symbols for an acid and its deprotonated form, the conjugate base.

Equation 3 is useful because it clearly shows that HA is a Brønstead-Lowry acid (giving up a proton to become A-) and water acts as a base (accepting the proton released by HA). However, the nomenclature H3O+ is somewhat misleading, because the proton is actually solvated by many water molecules. Hence, the equilibrium is often written as Equation 4, where H2O is the base:

Using the Law of Mass Action, which says that for a balanced chemical equation of the type

Equilibrium Constant for an Acid-Base Reaction
Using the Law of Mass Action, we can also define an equilibrium constant for the acid dissociation equilibrium reaction in Equation 4. This equilibrium constant, known as Ka, is defined by Equation 7:

(H2O is not included in the equilibrium-constant expression because it is a pure liquid.) Hence, we can see that increasing the OH- concentration of an aqueous solution has the effect of decreasing the H+ concentration, because the product of these two concentrations must remain constant at a given temperature. Thus, in water, the equilibrium in Equation 8 underlies the equivalency of the Brønstead-Lowry definition of a base (an H+ acceptor) and the Arrhenius definition of a base (an OH- producer).

It's best to never write it down; use passwords that you can easily remember (i.e. Fs&7ya …Four-score and seven years ago).
If you have to write it down, use paper and pen and lock it in a safe…not on the computer.
If you have to save it on your computer and already have encryption software (i.e. Entrust, PGP, etc.) for email or files, just send your self an encrypted email with that info or encrypt the file.
The last choice would be to use some kind of password manager software (I just don't like the idea of all my treasure is in this one basket)…I know where my attention would be if I were a hacker.

I just came here to chime in that this is an ongoing, recognized issue with IT/systems work. When everything works, it’s completely invisible…indeed, one of the ways to judge how well IT works is to ask how invisible it is. If you never know you’re using it, or anything is going on, it’s where it should be.

It's a dog…the 3-speed tyranny rev's too high on the hwy, and sap's too much power from the motor, so it will be significantly slower than a manual
Also, unless you have traction control(which 944's do not), it may be a real handful in snow or heavy rain.
944 is a GREAT car for the sunbelts…not so great in an area which has 4-real seasons. Consider also, the "newest" 944 is 21 years old…age of a car is as important as mileage when considering repair costs…the DME box alone is VERY expensive(like $1500-2000)
