I just wanted to say thanks for making this video Jon. I was planning on buying a Flip Ultra HD before I came across your previous video explaining why they pretty much suck. That along with this video really helped me in my search for the best camera for my buck. While I haven’t bought my new camera yet, I know for sure I won’t be buying a Flip. Thanks.

Most of the logical places have been listed in both hemispheres. The Northern Lights have been reported visible as far south as Cuba. I would imagine that the location of places where the Northern/Southern Lights are visible depends upon the amount of charged particles ejected by the Sun and captured by our magnetosphere.

There are a good number of "agents" who will offer to represent you for a fat fee, paid in advance–their representation will involve phoning you again in eleven months to remind you that next year's fee is due. Don't fall for that scam.
Your best bet will be to get deeply involved in all kinds of theatrical performance in and around Glascow, and to get the best training you can in acting, voice, dance, movement, and any other stage skills–a university degree wouldn't hurt. Work your way to respect in regional theatre, earn your Actors' Equity union card, and lay a path to London–make it there and you'll be ready to emigrate to New York if that's your dream.
You might want to visit Actors' Equity website to inform yourself about their requirements for membership–few manage to qualify.

One huge big problem was the lack of a portable clock. In the 1850s', clocks were very close to a Grandfather's clock. The portable pocket watch was barely reliable after the first 24 hours. Therefore, organizing a meetings was difficult.
The North had a similar problem when scheduling railways. (which allowed mass transit of goods.) Abe held a national test to establish a national standard for a pocket watch that kept accurate time for 72 hours with one winding.
Of the "winning" watches, 7 of 10 were made by the Springfield Watch Company based in Springfield, IL. None of the Springfield Watch Company products were sold to the South. (Which Southerner would dare buy one?) So the North started getting more frequent rail deliveries on time.
The South had few rail lines, even looking at today's rail lines show the marked difference in supply lines via rail. The South never developed a steel industry, which limited the popularity of any steel based product. This limited the wealth available from Union Steel Worker wages. It also limited the variety of tools available for production.
Another significant problem with the specialization on Cotton was the availability of feed for beef, lamp, sheep and other common farm animals. Without food stock for animals, the people didn't have a diet strong in protein. Cattle as human food is a sign of society wealth. Chicago became home to slaughterhouses due to the available access to rail yards. Their rail yards connected to the East Cost along the same supply lines which proved beneficial during the Civil War. Those yards extended to the West (Kansas City) providing a market for the cattle raised in the Midwest to feed the immigrants in New York City.
The South only had Atlanta and New Orleans as commercial hubs. It was simply easier to escape poverty by living outside of the cotton fields of the Southerner. I am tempted to go into a rant about the quality of black soil in the North and the clay soil in the South… but I won't. Just note that good black soil is better for growing than red clay.
Another problem was the lack of a school system. The North was settled by Religious groups who valued literacy. Reading the Good Book was important during their Sunday Services. Private schools were established on nearly every small town in the North. The South had a more evangelical religious base which didn't need to read from the book, it mere needed a charismatic leader who heard the word in their heart. Nearly every school in the South was established by Northerners on a mission. Many Southerners didn't appreciate the Northerner bring fancy books and "funny" ways of talking into their communities.
The man most responsible for establishing elementary level education in Memphis TN, is Southern General Nathan Bedford Forrest. He pushed government to provide a 3rd grade education for all Southern children. Today, most Southern blacks hate General Forrest. Although, they hate him for other reasons. (His statues are being removed in the South, so much for being the losing General in any war.)
If you investigate the famous Colleges in the South, you will find a great number were founded by religious missionaries from the North.
None of the Northern colleges were founded by Southerners. This was just as true prior to the Civil War as after.
On another note: George Washington Carver developed the many products for peanuts. He attended a college in Iowa. (There were few colleges for him to attend in the South.)
