Study Shows Competition Not Climate Change Led To Neanderthal Extinction
In a recently conducted study, a multidisciplinary French-American research team with expertise in archaeology, past climates, and ecology reported that Neanderthal extinction was principally a result of competition with Cro-Magnon populations, rather than the consequences of climate change.

I'm just left wondering how to filter out the vowels only, in order to boost the consonants!? Or vice versa.
I don't have a hearing aid or work with hearing aids, but I think that customising the response to various frequency bands to suit the individual aid wearer's hearing would be a more suitable way of improving understanding.
Add noise cancelling as well….?

All three of these hearing aids contain microprocessors that perform digital filtering to customize the amplification to the wearer’s hearing profile. They further dynamically adjust to reduce ambient noises. There is a tiny computer port inside the battery door that allows them to be reprogrammed as required. The hearing aid on the upper right fits behind the ear and allows some of the ambient sound around the output hole. The hearing aid on the upper left fits completely inside the ear and can not be seen unless some one looks directly into the ear. The hearing aid on the lower left fits even further into the ear and can’t be seen at all.

This 32″ flat panel TV is excellent and well worth the price. It was activated easily and fit the wall attachment precisely. It is my third Samsung LCD TV and works flawlessly. It is attached to cable TV but not in HD. Nevertheless, the picture is excellent and suits our purposes just fine. The sound is okay for us with our hearing aids in a small room. Rating: 5 / 5
