- Cleaning In-The-Ear Hearing Aids: The procedure for cleaning ITE aids is almost the same as the procedure for cleaning other hearing aids. They are more sensitive and smaller than other aids, so you need to take extra care while cleaning them. Like BTE aids, you should inspect them daily after taking off at night to look for any dried earwax on them, especially on the area that goes directly into the canal. After looking for wax use a soft cloth to clean it. If there is earwax found on any of the parts, sometimes it can be quite stubborn, in this case you can use some hard material.
Many manufacturers provide necessary cleaning tools along with the device and instructions on how to clean them.

It’s not very difficult to clean most hearing aids as long as you remember to take the necessary precautions. It seems I am the only adult I know that doesn’t own one. If I am at work, people can contact me, at home then if someone doesn’t have my number I don’t want to speak with them. If I am out and about I do not want to be bothered. I want to enjoy my time outside. I understand if people are doctors or people that need to be contacted yet children do not need them unless for emergencies. Other then that forget about it!

Med schools these days are very challenging, and the standards have risen tremendously. I don't know the Canadian school system, but you should take the hardest academic courses available in your school. If your school offers either AP or IB courses, take as many of those classes as you can handle. In the U.S., most competitive 11th graders take 4 or 5 AP classes. I don't know the number of courses, or the type of courses you can choose from, so I can't give you a specific list, but I'll try my best:
1) Math (definitely important) – Choose Calculus, if possible, or higher-level math
2) Science (definitely important) – Choose advanced classes, such as AP/IB/Honors Bio/Chem/Physics.
3) Social Studies (pretty important) – There's a wide variety you can choose from. You might need history or government for high school graduation requirements, but other than that, you can choose whatever you want. You should still aim for a higher-level AP/IB/honors class.
4) Foreign Language (very important) – If you have already started a foreign language, continue in your 11th grade year. Colleges want to see consistency, so don't switch languages. If you haven't started yet, it's not too late to get started.
5) English – Of course, a common graduation requirement, but you should take the highest level offered, such as honors/AP/IB. Good reading/writing skills are essential for college entrance exams and med school.
6) If you can take a sixth class, try to add another academic class, such as a 2nd science or social studies class. Or, if the other 5 classes are very heavy, you can take opt to take an elective, such as art or music. Your choice, basically.
