I think, they have trouble hearing so I should make sure to maintain eye contact when speaking and face the person in case they need to read my lips or watch my expression for help with words or sounds they may miss.
there is nothing wrong with a person being hearing impaired! Don't feel self-concious…there is nothing shameful about wearing something that helps you.

You may be enamored with quietly and surreptitiously perceiving or discerning the everyday activities of another human being.

it sounds real old fashioned but i used to sing in a band before i started up bass. anyway, my point is get those subtle ear plugs that just mute the sound a little quieter not completely
