You are on solid grounds, unless it was a porn industry that you were working for. You were subject to hostile working conditions. Under those circumstances even if you were to quit, you would still have had a good chance in securing unemployment benefits (constructive discharge). Jot down the specific instances of the porn/fighting etc., and that the boss knew about it. Also tell them that you were retaliated against for reporting the incident.

I think your boss is not so much concerned about the unemployment; as he is about a potential law suit by you involving hostile working conditions/sexual harassment. You need to contact the EEOC office where you reside, I think you may have a good case against them for retaliation as well.

It's just the anti America propaganda machine we call the mass media. Not a big deal. Just lies and exaggerations as usual. Our so called news media has become a giant National Enquirer. Journalism has died.

I know which one you're talking about. And I love those flowers which really stand out even from a distance because they are all flowers and almost no leaves. I hope that someone can give the answer so that I can go get one from Green Arrow or Home Depot.

  9. masakow Says:

You shouldn't have a problem passing the test.
Even if you were completely deaf in one ear, you could pass.

If you can hear the doctor speaking to you at 6 feet, with your back turned, using BOTH ears, you will pass.

This is the primary test for the FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate. (and 2&3 as well)

If you fail the test, you can elect to have an audiometric test done.

    Here are the actual requirements:

"Demonstrate hearing of an average conversational voice in a quiet room, using both ears at 6 feet, with the back turned to the examiner OR pass one of the audiometric tests below :

Audiometric speech discrimination test: (Score at least 70% discrimination in one ear) or:

Pure tone audiometric test: Unaided, with thresholds no worse than:
    500Hz 1,000Hz 2,000Hz 3,000Hz
    Better Ear 35Db 30Db 30Db 40Db
    Worst Ear 35Db 50Db 50Db 60Db"

Five Democrats did in fact defect from the party line and voted no on closing debate. As such, those Democrats “doomed” the DREAM Act. The ivy league is an east coast football league of private colleges. It doesn't necessarily mean 'best college'. There are plenty of great colleges not a part of that league, like MIT, CalTech, Stanford, U Chicago, Berkeley, and more, that can outrank the ivies. There are other football leagues, but that's probably not what you're looking for. The only other academic league similar to the ivies is the Seven Sisters, seven top womens colleges (one went co-ed a few years back). The others are just really good schools.
