Only if both his biological parents and both your biological parents have been 100% tested to not be and the same with you and him then there is a 99% probability you wont get aids however he may have picked up an STD from anything from Injecting himself with drugs to licking infected blood. If you got a jack or access to a lift, you can typically tell by looking under the car. If the Muffler looks newer, more clean that the rest of the exhaust piping, it's most likely aftermarket.
But the sound should be the biggest giveaway. If you have no muffler, the engine will just make the average "wooshing" sound when you mash on it and almost no sound when you're just going along. Those ricer can mufflers make an obvious buzz when you accelerate.
