Asking your Doctor is the best route to take once taken colors can be an option for you and the child. We have recently had a family member a child age of 2 go thru the coplin implant,this is where a hearing device is placed between the skin and the skull, it is powered by bat tries she carries around her waist, this child was 100% deaf in both ears, do not know your case, this may be an option as well check again with her or his doctor, our little angel is doing very well with them and she can now say mama and dada,,here's looking to her future!! I've been listening to loud music since I was 8. pretty much every single day in fact. i always loved music & its an addiction to me. & I listen to it loud. I'm 18 now & I do get headaches now but,I haven't noticed hearing loss yet. I'm trying to tone it down now before I do any serious damage

digitals are way overrated, they’re only designed for communication, backround noises sound weird in digitals, bird chirps and women with high tone voice sound robot like and the cars sound like jets or airplanes, it affects your awareness alot like your unable to hear people walking up behind, knocking on your door, lower sound effects and music backround in movies or tv shows, unable to enjoy listening to music, digitals are over hyped, analogs gives more natural hearing.

Josiah has just recovered from his first ear infection and he is having trouble hearing us. He has a follow-up appointment with the dr tomorrow so of course I’ll get her to check his ears then. Just a little worried. There are times when he doesn’t hear us at all, and other times he mis-hears us, eg I was talking about sheets and towels and he thought I was talking about sheep & cows.

The main cause of hearing loss for most people middle-aged or older is wear and tear. We are living longer, and advancing age is a big factor. As we age damage to the ear increases slowly. if your in the car for example the person sitting next to you can talk in the microphone and you can hear them better. Because their mouth is closer to the microphone than your ear there is less noise from car etc. making it easier to hear them.

I’ve been using my Oticon’s for 3 months and they’ve changed my life. Absolutely awesome. The sound is amazing, especially when driving, I don’t hear the wind noise like before with my other hearing aids. I can her conversations clearly and they’ve just generally improved my life greatly.
